Red light therapy uses an LZR UltraBright unit that delivers two wavelengths of light, 810 nm and 660 nm, onto the skin over the area we are working on. We use it within the manufacturer's labeled indications for selected musculoskeletal complaints. It is one tool inside a plan, not a plan on its own.
A session is simple. You sit or lie down, we position the unit over the area we are treating, and you rest for the length of the session. Nothing is injected, nothing is taken by mouth, and there is no recovery time afterward.
Whether red light belongs in your care is a question for your exam and your history, not a box we check for everyone. We add it only when it fits, and we will tell you honestly if it is not worth including. If you want to talk it through, ask at your next visit or call the office at (972) 596-1611.
