Chiropractic acupuncture places sterile, single-use needles at specific points on the body, and it is aimed at prompting your own response at those points. Some sessions add electroacupuncture, which runs a gentle, low-level electrical current through the needles. The needles are thin, and we will walk you through each step before we place the first one.
We offer it here for selected musculoskeletal complaints, not as general Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is used inside a chiropractic care plan, often alongside an adjustment or soft-tissue work, and whether we recommend it at all depends on what your exam and history show.
This service is performed by Willie Ow, D.C., who holds a current acupuncture permit from the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. We will talk through whether it fits your case before your first session, and we will tell you plainly if something else makes more sense for you.
